I “cast” James Ransone as Henry Gardner years ago, before he sadly passed away on December 19th 2025. It’s a great loss, he was fantastic in every role he played, including a memorable stint in the third season of The Wire (2003), his leading role in Sinister 2 (2015) after playing second fiddle in the first and of course, It Chapter Two (2019). I enjoyed his twitchy, driven performances, full of anxiety and nervous energy. He was one of those great character actors sadly taken too soon.
